CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners of all ages. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to build on the basics, CanSkate teaches essential skills like balance, control, and agility through fun, high-energy group lessons.

Skaters move through a nationally recognized 6-stage program led by certified coaches and supported by trained program assistants. With music, movement, and motivational incentives like badges and ribbons, CanSkate keeps kids active and engaged while preparing them for figure skating, hockey, ringette, speed skating or just recreational fun!
